Class Specifics:
Over 6 Weeks we'll unlock ALL the mental secrets to teaching your child the key on and off-court foundations to becoming a mentally tough competitor.
Week #1: Mentally Tough Players
In Week 1 we'll be learning the foundations of how to become a mentally tough player
Week #2: Connecting with Purpose
In Week 2, we'll teach your child how to apply what we call our purpose both on and off the court. This module includes specific instructions on how to apply our purpose to point play.
Week #3: Attentional Control
One of the most important mental toughness skills is the ability to aim and maintain attention on helpful targets. In Week 3, we'll show you how to develop this skill with several on court activities.
Week #4: Committed Actions
To compete effectively your child needs to learn how to apply the golden rule of mental toughness: Never start a point unless we are committed to a helpful process- that's what Week 4 is about
Week #5: Tolerance
In Week 5 we'll introduce you to the most important tennis skill of all, what we call tolerance or emotional fitness. We'll then outline the on court activities to help your child develop it :-)
Week #6: The Between Point Routine
In Week 6 we'll bring it all together by showing you how your child can complete a between point routine using all the skills we've developed throughout the class.

Pat Flynn
Pat is the director of Player Development at Mentally Tough Tennis. He was previously a University of Texas All-American, top 500 ATP pro, and more recently one of the highest rated players in the world for his age according to the UTR Rating. As a consultant he works with players of all ages and standards, with a particular interest in helping players just beginning their tennis journey as a junior. In 2019 he helped Canadian player Brayden Schnur become one of the world's fastest rising players going from a #260 to inside the world's top 100 including making an ATP Tour final.
